The Claims Processor is involved in processing claims, identifying the root cause of damages. Responsibilities:
- Enters & process new and existing claims in the database.
- Checks basic claim information and settles findings appropriately.
- Assesses provider disputes related to claims.
- Verbal and email communication with customers and customer insurance companies.
- Reviewing claim reporting, customer manuals, and other claim-related documentation.
- Create, edit, and send claim reporting and statistics internally.
- Uphold the company’s core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence and Safety.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a heavy volume claims environment, preferably in trucking.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service qualities, verbal, written and analytical strength to communicate and resolve difficult issues.
- Ability to work independently.
- Team oriented, possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office programs especially Excel (basic Excel test will be administered)
